This organization consists of 28 medical schools in South Korea to collaborate on developing and sharing online learning resources for undergraduate medical students. This organizations was established in 2007 with the goal of improving the quality of medical education in South Korea by developing and sharing quality online resources. Since then, this consortium has developed an e-learning portal, which is a database of online resources developed by the faculty of member schools. This repository includes 200 virtual patient cases, over 400 image data, and video clips for clinical skill demonstration. All faculty, staff, and students have access to the learning resources in its e-learning portal. In addition to enriching the repository of learning resources, this consortium is also engaged in research in the design of effective e-learning, such as virtual patients.
