The conference provides a platform for health professional educators in the region to exchange experiences and to identify challenges in educating tomorrow’s health professionals. With the presence of regional medical schools as participants, this conference aims to foster co-operation and reinforce networking. The five important aspects in health professionals education issues, i.e. the curriculum; the student; the teacher; management & governance and accreditation will be our main focus.
Objectives
Provide a platform for all those involved in health education in the region to exchange experiences
Identify challenges in educating tomorrow's health professionals
Foster co-operation and reinforce networking between medical schools in the region
Share experiences in health professionals education issues under five categories: the curriculum, the student, the teacher, management & governance, accreditation
